What causes some eggs to be small and some large?
Large eggs come from mature hens;small and pee wee eggs are produced by young hens.
Large eggs come from mature hens; small and pee wee eggs are produced by young hens. There is no nutritional difference between these eggs, however the egg white will be firmer in eggs produced by younger hens.
